Emily Kopek
Emily’s passion to help people with chronic health issues, stems from her own history with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Her diagnosis sent her through a journey beyond traditional medicine, and her desire is to share what she learned with others. She feels strongly about treating the whole person, addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of chronic illness.
She holds BS in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary, an MS in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, TN. She practices functional medicine and has a background in women’s health and family medicine. She’s a member of The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), The International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI) , and the Tennessee Association of Physician Assistants (TAPA).
