Cinnamon Spice Chai

Ingredients
  

  • 1 broken up cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp coriander seed
  • 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
  • 1/4 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cloves

Instructions
 

  • I put this all in my coffee grinder and grind a little bit. I mix this up pretty well then put in a storage jar. You can then use about 1 teaspoon of this mixture in an 8 ounce cup of water and simmer on low for about 10 minutes. Remove this mixture from the heat and add in some of your favorite green or black tea. In a pinch, I have simply added Garam Masala to my cup of tea!
  • Now let it steep for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile heat about 2-4 ounces of unsweetened almond milk. After your tea has finished the 5 minutes steeping, strain and sweeten to taste and finally you can froth the almond milk then add it on top. Sprinkle some cinnamon and you're done!
