Taking the weekend to prepare for the 10 Day GFDF Challenge
If you are doing the 10 Day Gluten Free Dairy Free Challenge with me, you might be looking for some resources.
Trader Joe’s Vegan List (has a lot of dairy free options!)
Kroger’s Gluten Free Products
Aldi has a Gfree line and a list of gluten free products but I can’t vouch for all the products, so make sure you know how to read the ingredient label. I recommend staying away from processed food as much as possible and trying to focus on whole foods.
My favorite GFDF books:
The Healing Kitchen (lots of budget friendly recipes all sugar free, gluten free, dairy free)
The Paleo Approach (I’m not saying you should go Paleo at all, I’m just saying this is an amazing book with a lot of good traditional recipes and back to the basics instructions)
No Grain Diet by Dr. Mercola
My video about Sticktoitiveness
Some of my blog posts about gluten:
I can’t add an exhaustive list so consider this just a few suggestions.
Red meat, pork, poultry, and seafood such as Wild Caught Salmon and other Wild Caught fish and eggs
Plus all the vegetables you want!
I love Dr. Axe’s list of Healing Foods, but for the sake of this challenge omit the “Dairy” section even though it contains mostly fermented dairy products.
This THM friendly GFDF Baking Mix Recipe is good for making yummy bread type items such as the Rosemary Garlic Flat Bread recipe on this page (scroll down it’s towards the bottom). She has lots of other great THM friendly recipes on her blog. Try the Pumpkin Oatmeal, just make sure your oatmeal is actually gluten free!
Use Wonder Wraps for all your wrapy things and throw in some berries and other fruits in moderation.
I’ll be sharing what I’m eating starting Monday so make sure you subscribe to my blog to see more!
