Gravy for Poutine
- 4 cups bone broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound mushrooms, any variety
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons mushroom extract powder
- Add stock to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, then add onions and mushrooms (not powder).
- Cover and cook until onions and mushrooms are tender.
- Blend with immersion blender.
- Season with S&P, add mushroom powder last.
- Blend again with immersion blender.
